Warranty Limitations
When you use our website, it's essential to acknowledge and consent to the fact that all Resources we offer are provided "as is" and "as available." This implies that we do not assure or warrant the following:
i) That the use of our Resources will fulfill your particular needs or requirements.
ii) That the use of our Resources will occur without interruptions, adhere to specific timelines, ensure security, or be free from errors.
iii) That the information obtained through the use of our Resources will be precise and dependable.
iv) That any issues or malfunctions in the operation or functionality of the Resources we provide will be rectified or amended.
Additional Terms on Liability
Furthermore, you should be aware and consent to the following:
v) Any content you download or otherwise obtain through the use of our Resources is at your own discretion and risk. You are solely responsible for any damage to your computer or other devices, as well as any data loss resulting from the download of such content.
vi) Any information or advice, whether expressed, implied, oral, or written, obtained from Alterationspecialists.com or through any Resources we provide, does not create any warranty, guarantee, or conditions, except as expressly outlined in this User Agreement.
In alignment with the aforementioned Warranty Limitations, you expressly understand and agree that any claims against us will be restricted to the amount you paid, if any, for the use of our products and/or services. Alterationspecialists.com will not be accountable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary losses or damages that may be incurred by you due to your use of our Resources. This includes changes, data loss or corruption, cancellations, loss of access, or downtime, to the fullest extent that applicable limitation of liability laws permits.
Refunds, Returns, and Cancellations
We have full confidence that you will be delighted with the results of your alterations. However, we understand that occasionally, alterations may not meet your expectations. In such an unlikely event, please familiarize yourself with the terms related to refunds, returns, and subsequent alterations to address the original alterations.
Since each garment is uniquely tailored, we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or returns for alterations performed by Sewing Creations By Maura, regardless of the client's satisfaction. Refunds and cancellations are only permissible for an order (excluding rush orders) within 24 hours of the initial meeting or placement of the order and payment details with Sewing Creations By Maura. If a refund or cancellation request is made after 24 hours from the initial meeting, it is solely at the discretion of Sewing Creations By Maura to grant a refund or cancel the order. Please note that the service fee will not be refunded under any circumstance. This policy is in place because once an order is initiated, work on the garment promptly commences, and expenses are incurred as an integral part of the tailoring process.
When you establish a business relationship with Sewing Creations By Maura (at the time of the initial fitting and administration of a claim ticket), you acknowledge the inherent risk associated with tailoring/altering a garment. This risk arises from the subjective nature of alteration work, where there is no objective measure for the quality and satisfaction of an alteration from start to finish. You understand that Sewing Creations By Maura may perform alterations in a way that may not meet your expectations, for reasons including but not limited to the resulting garment being deemed unalterable, damaged, or unfixable. In such situations, Sewing Creations By Maura will not offer a refund or exchange under any circumstances. If a garment is considered unalterable, defective, or damaged following Sewing Creations By Maura's work, we will not provide a refund, exchange, or cover the replacement cost or resale value of the garment. However, in the event of an unfavorable situation, the Company will make its best faith efforts (at its sole discretion) to address and rectify the matter.
If you are dissatisfied for any reason, we are fully committed to collaborating with you to find a solution.
Our typical timeline for completing alterations ranges from 1 to 3 weeks, depending on our current volume and the type of alterations (as wedding gowns average 6-8 weeks). While we strive to adhere to this timeline, it is subject to change (without notice) due to various factors occasionally beyond our control. Sewing Creations By Maura (at its sole discretion) will make every good faith effort to resolve unfavorable situations and ensure satisfaction.
Body and Garment Measurements
When utilizing Sewing Creations By Maura for body or garment measurements, the client explicitly acknowledges that Sewing Creations By Maura holds no liability for these measurements in any regard, encompassing the resulting fit or the quality of the garment when using such measurements. This is due to the fact that various companies interpret and translate measurements differently. The client also comprehends that Sewing Creations ByMaura does not provide any assurances regarding the quality or accuracy of its measurements. Furthermore, Sewing Creations By Maura does not assume any responsibility or liability for these measurements, should they be employed in creating, altering, or purchasing any garment (custom or otherwise) from a third-party company.
Payment Methods
For retail transactions, Sewing Creations By Maura prefers payments through credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, or cash. If you prefer to pay using a check, or an alternative method, it is necessary to obtain approval ahead of your scheduled pick-up date, and this approval is subject to the sole discretion of the company.
Deposits On Custom Designs
Upon establishing a business relationship for custom designs with Sewing Creations By Maura, you hereby agree to our "Deposit" policy, which is applicable to all custom orders. This Deposit encompasses a 50 percent deposit of the estimated total cost. This Deposit enables us to begin the process of designing your custom piece and order any necessary material. Out Deposit is designed to ensure that there is no loss in labor costs if the client changes their mind. If a client decides to cancel their custom design the amount that is refunded is at the discretion of Sewing Creations By Maura and will be no more than 50 percent of the deposit.
Garment Inspection and Warranty
Upon receiving your meticulously tailored garments, it is your responsibility to conduct a thorough inspection and promptly report any damages or defects to a member of our staff within 7 business days. Alternatively, you can email your concerns to sewingcreations1@gmail.com.
We are dedicated to providing you with the finest alteration and tailoring services available. However, it's important to note that we cannot assume responsibility for damages resulting from personal wear, wear, and tear due to regular use, or overuse. To clarify, our warranty does not extend to damages caused by personal accidents, improper care (such as excessive dry cleaning or mishandling by your dry cleaner), negligence, normal wear, and tear, or the natural fading of colors and materials over time and use. Please be aware that certain fabrics are delicate and require meticulous care. If you seek advice on best practices to enhance the longevity of your garments, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
Any holes that result from normal wear and tear will be considered the responsibility of the client. Rest assured, we are committed to helping you find a solution to repair your garment, and each case will be handled on an individual basis.
We understand that unforeseen personal circumstances can sometimes impede the timely pickup of your garments. Consequently, we will store your garments at our facility for up to 90 days from the date of your scheduled pickup/fitting date. Beyond this period, any unclaimed garments will be donated to a charity of our choice. By availing of our service, you acknowledge that we are not liable for the loss of your clothing after the 90 day mark.

Your Rights and Preferences
In alignment with industry standards, our highly skilled Sewing Creations By Maura’s master fitters occasionally need to address specific, sensitive areas of a customer's body to ensure precise alterations on a garment. These procedures may involve pinning and chalking, and they encompass regions such as the bust area for both men's and women's garments, as well as the seat and crotch area, among others. When engaging Sewing Creations By Maura for any fitting consultation or appointment, irrespective of whether a transaction follows, the customer expressly provides permission for our fitters, tailors, and seamstresses to attend to these sensitive areas when necessary to achieve the best results. We are deeply committed to fostering a secure and comfortable environment for both clients and staff.
Should a customer opt not to have specific areas marked, chalked, or pinned during the fitting due to personal preferences, it is important to note that i) the quality of the alteration may be compromised, ii) Sewing Creations By Maura cannot guarantee the outcome of the alteration, and iii) Sewing Creations By Maura may find it necessary to perform a second round of alterations in such cases. The company reserves the right to charge the customer for additional alterations required in the aforementioned scenario. The customer explicitly acknowledges that Sewing Creations By Maura bears no responsibility for any claims of sexual harassment, negligence, or damages against the company when they engage Sewing Creations By Maura for a fitting, regardless of any subsequent transaction.
We extend complimentary consultations to our valued customers. In cases where a customer decides not to proceed with the alterations after the fitting, our staff will promptly remove all pins and chalk marks, if applied. It is important to note that fittings conducted by employees of Sewing Creations By Maura are considered the sole property and intellectual property of our company, and no pins can be retained in any garment except when the client chooses to proceed with our alteration services.
Shipping and Courier Services
In cases where you opt to utilize Sewing Creations By Maura for shipping or courier services to transport a garment to any destination, it is crucial to understand that Sewing Creations By Maura assumes no responsibility for any loss or damage incurred if the designated carrier were to lose or damage the package. Should you wish to safeguard your package through insurance, the onus lies with you to request this additional protective measure, and an extra fee will be imposed to cover the cost of insurance.
Copyrights and Trademarks
Sewing Creations By Maura owns all the content and materials accessible on its platform, encompassing but not confined to text, graphics, the website's name, code, images, and logos. These assets are safeguarded by pertinent copyright and trademark regulations. Unauthorized use, which includes, but is not limited to, reproducing, distributing, displaying, or transmitting any content on this site, is strictly prohibited unless expressly sanctioned by Sewingcreations.biz
Termination of Access
